Bethany Beach is a private community whose facilities are for the exclusive use of its leaseholders and their guests. While using the beach, lifeguards may ask which leasehold a person is associated with.

All chairs, kayaks and Paddle boards need to be taken up from the beach by Monday October 9th. All articles left on the beach will be donated. Please contact Alane Church with questions at 847-204-0432 or Achurch7@hotmail.com

2023 Season Information:

Guards will start cleaning the beach on Memorial Day Weekend. Guards will work from June 27 - Labor Day Weekend.

Beach Gates will be closed daily at 10pm and reopen at 8am.

Guards will conduct weekly training on Mondays at 9:00 a.m.

Lifeguard Hours:

June and August: 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

July: 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Notes:

• Sign up for SUP racks by emailing bblifeguard@gmail.com spaces are limited.

  • Only one SUP rack per household.

    • Chair racks are first come first serve.

    • Please limit chairs to 4-6 per family.

    • Please only hook chairs to the chair rack.

    • Please put your name on the chairs.
