  • Email us: Larry Anderson, Brad Ytterberg, Stan Erickson, John Lockner

  • Unfortunately some people are unaware Chikaming Township has legal jurisdiction about work that is done—even in Bethany. Their involvement is to help our homes to be safe for your family, our community, and last for years to come. Without compliance to permitting and ordinances some receive substantial fines, including on-going fines until out-of-compliance work is re-done to become compliant.

RELEAF BETHANY

Bethany Beach is offering a subsidized plan to assist leaseholds in planting new trees. The board has approved the Releaf Bethany Beach plan to copay a portion of the cost for planting up to 50 new, deciduous shade trees on individual leaseholds to replace the many trees that are lost every year. This is a negotiated plan with the nursery who will be supplying and planting the trees. The discounted cost to the leasehold is $250 for a 2" tree (appx 9'-10°) and $375 for a 2 1/2" tree (appx 10'-12').

Interested Leaseholder? Please contact us as we would like to meet with you to assist you in selecting suitable location(s) and tree(s). Restrictions apply.

Orders for trees will taken now through Labor Day weekend 2024 for group planting in the Spring of 2025. If you are interested, please TEXT Mark Grandholm at 219-629-1329 or Steve Glassman at 630-542-4059 to arrange a meeting.
